The Tralee Park Run is a free event that takes place every Saturday at 9:30am. The running route is a scenic and relaxing 5km run around the Tralee Town Park, Co. Kerry, Ireland run entirely on tarmac paths. The route is very flat and requires just over 3 full clockwise laps of Tralee Town Park. The run will start from the entrance closest to the Ashe Memorial Hall.
Tralee Town Park is a peaceful parkland which was formerly part of Denny Demesne. It has leisure walks, an extensive rose garden, a garden of the senses and a well-developed playground. It also has a commemorative fountain. It is within walking distance of Tralee town. Public toilet facilities are at the park entrance of Denny Street.There is a metered car parking close by the park and parking is also available in Brandon Car Park which is situated adjacent to the Park.
