Galley Cove Beach is located 1.5km west of Crookhaven Village. The beach is approximately 250m in length and is part of a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and a National Heritage Area (NHA).  Galley Cove Beach is a safe and sheltered location for swimming and other recreational activities. It also forms part of a popular walking route from Barley Cove to Crookhaven and also along the beach and onward up to Brow Head.
