Fermoyle Strand is a stunning sandy beach at the foothills of Brandon mountain near the small village of Cloghane. This continuous 14km stretch of strand from Cloghane to the Magherees includes the beaches of Stradbally, Gowlane and Kilcummin and other small strand and is the longest in Ireland. It is a great beach for families, kids, dogs, walking, swimming, fishing, surfing and other watersports. This area also boasts the highest mountain on the Dingle Peninsula Brandon Mountain at 952m and the highest pass in Ireland, the Conor Pass, which offers an extraordinary scenic drive to Dingle with views over large parts of the Dingle Peninsula.
