Carrickfinn Beach is a stunning long sandy Blue Flag beach located in Gweedore Bay county Donegal, Ireland. The beach backed by sand dunes and is located in a Natural Heritage Area which is great for Bird Watching in the varied coastal habitats and wild grasslands and some rare plant species can be seen. The beach is popular for bathing, walking, bird watching and watching for dolphins from the shore. Lifeguards are on duty in the summer.
