Located in Fenit just 7 miles west of Tralee, Co. Kerry, the centre has direct access to some of the best waters off the west coast of Ireland on the Wild Atlantic Way. We think we are located in the best sailing bay in Ireland!
SAILING: New to sailing or an old sea dog, First timer or avid racer, simply cruising or any type of competitive sailing, Tralee Bay Maritime Centre has a course, a coaching clinic and/or a tailored programme for you – all ages from 8 up. The summer sailing school is operates with very high standards of safety and training, delivering on ISA ( Irish Sailing Association) dinghy courses from beginner to advanced sailors of all ages. The offer has grown to an all year around activity with the introduction of Performance sailing and corporate offers as well as Transition Year packages.
But maritime activities are more than just sailing and the centre offers a wide range of products and services ranging from power boating, angling, sea safaris, kayaking, surveying, consulting and a series of shore based courses.
POWERBOATING: Build your experience, progress your skills and gain the appropriate power boating certification for your needs whether a beginner or more advanced.
SCENIC BOAT TRIPS: Enjoy the magic of Tralee Bay aboard Kerry Colleen II, a licensed passenger carrying boat with all the safety equipment aboard – whether it is chartered angling, sight seeing or a sea safari viewing seals, dolphins and maybe more.
KAYAKING AND SUP: Rent a kayak or a Stand Up Paddleboard from Tralee Bay Maritime Centre and explore the cost around Fenit at your own pace.

You can hire all the equipment you need but we also have an online store you can visit now. TBMC clinics are annual features. Led by our home-based coach, the sessions are delivered by renowned coaches. They have a clear focus on racing skills to progress sailors in Performance sailing.
