Beginning and ending in Ballyvaughan, this drive includes 2 seperate loops and encircles the Burren taking in some great views, things to do along the way. The western loop takes in the villages and towns of Lisdoonvarna, Kilfenora, Ennistimon, Lahinch, Liscannor, Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, Fanore and Black Head which surround the UNESCO Burren. The eastern loop, again starting in Ballyvaughan takes in the Burren National Park, the villages of Corrofin and Carran and landscape containing one of the highest concentrations of ancient heritage sites in Ireland including ring forts, megalithic tombs, stone rows, standing stones, castles, graveyards, cairns and more.
