Manorcunningham Viewpoint is in Co Donegal, Ireland and is a Discovery Point on the Wild Atlantic Way. The village is 7km from Letterkenny on the main Derry road. From here a visitor has wonderful views of the inner reaches of Lough Swilly. Lough Swilly or Loch Súilí in Irish means 'Lake of Shadows' or the 'Lake of Eyes' is an ancient glacial fjord between the Inishowen Peninsula on the east and the Fanad Peninsula to the west. Formed during the last Ice Age, Lough Swilly along with Carlingford Lough and Killary Harbour are the only glacial fjords in Ireland.
